WQC Parts Warranty Coverage

Eligible WQC Parts products are covered by warranty protection equivalent to the applicable OEM warranty period unless a different warranty is stated on the product page, quotation, invoice, or other sales documentation.

Warranty coverage applies to qualifying defects in materials or workmanship. Depending on the product, this may include aftermarket Komatsu replacement parts such as pins and bushings, seal kits, hydraulic parts, pumps, cylinders, engine parts, undercarriage components, wear parts, electrical components, hardware, and other heavy equipment replacement parts.

A warranty does not guarantee that a part is correct for every machine carrying the same general model designation. Komatsu parts may vary by machine serial number, serial-number range, component arrangement, installed assembly, or application. Correct part identification remains important when ordering any replacement component.

What Is Not Covered

Warranty coverage does not apply to failures or damage resulting from conditions unrelated to a defect in the supplied part. Examples include:

Incorrect installation or improper assembly.
Ordering or installing an incorrect part number or application.
Incorrect fitment caused by failure to verify the Komatsu model, serial number, serial range, or component arrangement.
Misuse, abuse, overloading, accident, or improper equipment operation.
Contamination of hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling, or other machine systems.
Insufficient lubrication or improper maintenance.
Normal wear of wear components and other consumable parts.
Damage caused by another failed or improperly installed component.
Modification, alteration, machining, welding, or repair of the supplied part without authorization.
Damage occurring after installation that is unrelated to a defect in materials or workmanship.

Warranty Claims

If you believe an aftermarket Komatsu part or other heavy equipment replacement part purchased from WQC Parts has failed because of a defect in materials or workmanship, contact WQC Parts promptly with your order information and details of the failure.

To evaluate a warranty claim, we may request information including:

WQC Parts order or invoice number.
Part number and quantity involved.
Komatsu machine model and serial number.
Description of the failure and operating conditions when it occurred.
Photographs or video showing the part and reported failure.
Installation, maintenance, or diagnostic information when relevant.
Return of the affected part for inspection when necessary.

Warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification. WQC Parts may require the affected component to be returned before a warranty determination can be completed.

Warranty Resolution

If a warranty claim is approved, WQC Parts will provide the applicable warranty remedy based on the product, circumstances of the failure, and warranty coverage associated with the part.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing, warranty coverage applies to the eligible replacement part itself and does not cover unrelated labor, equipment downtime, loss of use, rental equipment, lost production, consequential damage, or other incidental expenses.

Special-Order, OEM, Surplus and Used Parts

OEM Komatsu parts, surplus parts, used parts, discontinued components, and other products specially sourced for an individual customer may be subject to different warranty terms. When applicable, warranty coverage for these products will be determined by the terms associated with the specific item or supplier.
